What a summer! A note from Steve Crenshaw
The Carlos Mencia show was great! Ten years is too long to stay away from Redrocks though. Playing with Lewis and Floorwax and the Groovehawgs again has been a joy. I can't wait to see what the future has in store for both my band and the 'hawgs.
Watching my kids grow up has changed me as a human being, and made me appreciate life, my wife Cyndi and math. (money coming in and diapers going out) I never thought you could have so many different conversations about poop and poop related subjects but you can. Oh, the burdens of happiness......
But, the kids are great. Vincent has almost reached his first birthday and is crawling and curious. Haley started kindergarten and has figured Cyndi and I out. Consequently, she plays us better than I can play guitar. I'd Better get to practicing!
Other than that, I've been studying. I decided to further my education and enrolled in college as a business major. Right now, my head is burried in Algebra and just when I thought I might be smart, our babysitter said she was studying Calculus at 16. Now those are numbers that don't compute. (LOL) Anyways, school is like a timewarp and makes you feel like you can be anything that you want to be, all over again.
My new album, Airplane, is in limited release and I will be selling them at the shows. Please pickup a copy or send me an email and I can mail you one. It sounds great and really is my best work to date.
Although Summer is winding down, we still have the fall to look forward to. Lots of shows to do and I hope to see you all real soon. Thanks for the support and God bless!!!!
